Rory qualified from the Royal London Hospital in 1977. He is an Experienced dental practitioner and became a partner in the Holford Practice in 1998. In the early part of his career he held a four year post in Bermuda specialising in treating children and this invaluable experience has influenced his career and Philosophy of dental care.
Rory maintains regular postgraduate education both in the UK And USA. Following an interest in migraine, head and neck pain problems related to dental issues and occlusion (biting) where patients clench and grind their teeth, he has become highly skilled using protective splints and the minimal NTI device popular in the USA. He has recently equipped and trained in he use of the Tek-Scan computerised sensor and programme [or accurate adjustments of the teeth themselves.
He utilises this in improving the provision of complex restorative work as well as providing general and cosmetic dental services.
In addition Rory provides a referral service for screening assessment, treatment and relief of patients with chronic myofacial pain.
He is a member of the British Society of Occlusal Studies and the Dental Society of London. |
